THE BASICS
Help make FindMyPerson a good place to meet people
Everyone using FindMyPerson should treat other members with consideration. That applies to profiles, photographs, messages, introductions and any interaction that begins through the service.
These Community Guidelines are a practical summary of the behaviour we expect. Our Terms and Conditions will contain the more detailed rules governing use of FindMyPerson, including account responsibilities, prohibited conduct and the circumstances in which access may be restricted or removed.
Be genuine
Represent yourself honestly. Profile information and photographs should genuinely relate to you. Do not impersonate another person, deliberately mislead members or create deceptive accounts.
Respect boundaries
Other members are free to decide who they communicate with. Respect a request to stop messaging and do not pressure someone to share contact details, meet in person or continue a conversation.
Keep content appropriate
Profiles and messages should be suitable for a dating community. Do not use FindMyPerson to distribute threatening, hateful, exploitative or unlawful material, or unsolicited explicit sexual content.
Protect privacy
Think carefully before sharing personal information. Do not publish or distribute another member's private information, photographs or conversations without an appropriate reason or permission.
No scams or manipulation
FindMyPerson must not be used for fraud, financial solicitation, deceptive commercial activity or attempts to manipulate members into sending money, goods, passwords or sensitive information.
Report concerns
If something appears unsafe, suspicious or seriously inappropriate, use the reporting tools when available. Reports help us review behaviour and decide what action may be appropriate.
Follow the law
Members must use the service lawfully. FindMyPerson is intended to help people form genuine connections, not to facilitate unlawful conduct or activity that puts other people at risk.
WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Reports and account action
We may review reported or detected activity that appears inconsistent with these guidelines or our Terms and Conditions. Depending on the circumstances, action may include a warning, content removal, feature restrictions, suspension or account closure.
Not every uncomfortable interaction is necessarily a breach of the rules. Context matters, and reports should be made in good faith.
