What is FindMyPerson?

MATCHING

Who you see and why

How does FindMyPerson matching work?

Matching starts with mutual eligibility. Your age, geographic and relationship requirements determine which profiles can potentially be shown, and the other member's requirements must include you too.

Eligible profiles can then be compared using the compatibility information available, such as interests, lifestyle, personality, relationship preferences and other profile information. Qualifying matches are ordered from higher match strength to lower match strength.

Why can I only see certain profiles?

FindMyPerson does not show every member to everyone. If another person falls outside the age or geographic requirements you have selected, you will not see their profile. The same applies in reverse: if you fall outside their selected range, their profile will not be shown to you.

This means a profile only enters the potential matching pool when the basic requirements work both ways.

Why might I have only a few matches?

Because FindMyPerson applies mutual requirements before ranking compatible profiles, your results may be smaller than on services designed around unrestricted browsing. This may be especially noticeable while our membership is growing.

We recommend being patient rather than immediately widening requirements simply to create a larger list. New members will continue joining, and the goal is relevant introductions rather than volume for its own sake.

What does “the more you share, the more you see” mean?

Profile information is reciprocal by category. You should not be able to create a thin profile and then browse detailed information that other members have taken the time to provide.

For example, if you do not complete your interests, you will not see the interests of potential matches. The same principle can apply to lifestyle, personality and other reciprocal profile sections.

The more meaningful information you provide, the more context FindMyPerson has for matching and the more corresponding information you can see about potential matches.

Does an incomplete profile affect matching?

Yes. A thin profile gives the matching system less information to work with and also limits the reciprocal information you can see about other members.

Basic information required for age, geographic and relationship eligibility can still be used internally to determine whether two members are potentially eligible to see one another.

Does FindMyPerson include astrology matching?

Yes, for members who consider astrology important, astrology compatibility can be included as an additional matching preference. It is optional and is not presented as a guarantee or prediction that a relationship will succeed.

PHOTOS & PRIVACY

Photos and Blind Date Mode

What is Blind Date Mode?

Blind Date Mode lets you use FindMyPerson without profile photographs being part of what you initially see. If your account is in Blind Date Mode, other members cannot see your profile photos and you cannot see theirs.

The rule is reciprocal: if you don't show photos, you don't see photos. You can still use the profile information and compatibility context available to you.

Do I have to upload profile photos?

Yes. Every member must upload four photographs. Your main photograph must be a clear photo of your face, and all four photographs must be approved by FindMyPerson administration before normal photo visibility becomes available.

What happens while my photos are waiting for approval?

Your account remains in Blind Date Mode until the required photographs have been approved. Your unapproved photographs are not shown to other members, and you will not be able to see other members' profile photos during that period.

Does photo approval mean a member has been identity verified?

No. Photo approval is intended to support genuine profiles and consistent photo standards. It should not be treated as identity verification or as a guarantee about another member's identity, intentions or conduct.

SAFETY & ACCOUNT RULES

Keeping the community useful

What happens if another member behaves badly?

Members will be able to report concerns. Reports can be reviewed by FindMyPerson administration and action may be taken where conduct breaches our rules or creates a safety concern.

Read the Community Guidelines →

How does the three-report rule work?

If an account receives reports from three different users, the account is automatically locked pending review. A report is not itself a finding that misconduct occurred; the lock gives us an opportunity to review the circumstances.

Repeated misconduct or serious misconduct may result in account termination in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
