How messaging works
Connect keeps things clear
- 1Choose Connect when you are ready
You can create, complete and prepare your profile before purchasing.
- 2Start a conversation
An active Connect option lets you message another member. They can then reply to you.
- 3Messaging pauses when Connect ends
When the Connect period expires, neither member can continue that conversation through FindMyPerson until Connect is purchased again.
You stay in control
We do not automatically renew Connect
Automatic recurring payments are not part of the FindMyPerson model. Your chosen Connect period ends on its stated expiry date. We will not charge you again unless you actively choose and purchase another Connect option.
Connect questions
Can I create a profile without Connect?
Yes. Connect is required for messaging, not for creating and completing your profile.
Can the other member reply if they have not purchased Connect?
Yes. After an active Connect member starts the conversation, the recipient can reply while that Connect period remains active.
Will FindMyPerson automatically charge me again?
No. Every Connect option is a one-off purchase and does not renew automatically.
What happens when my Connect period expires?
Messaging opened through that Connect period pauses. You can choose another Connect option whenever you are ready to continue.
